国内でも手に入るようになった電子ペーパーおよび３Ｇモジュール搭載e-book「kindle」。
が、結構高いんですよね、端末、たしか、2万後半くらいじゃなかったっけ？
ということで、普通のPCでも読めるようになるといいなー、Kindleフォーマットの電子書籍。と思っていたら、出ました。PC版Kindleソフトウェア

ああ、正確にいうと、出る予定です。ですね。

ちなみに、Mac版も出る予定みたいで、

ただ、Mac版を出すだけでなく
API経由で各種ディベロッパーに、Kindleの情報をつかってもらうという戦略みたい。

実際にKindleで扱っている情報とかデータがオープンになると、Kindle以外のe-bookデバイスメーカーにも活路がわいてくるし、そもそも、Amazonもデバイスで儲けようとしているわけではなく、やっぱ、電子書籍流通のプラットフォーマになったほうが美味しいわけで、そういう戦略、当たり前な感じですね。

ユーザーとしてはKindleベースの緩やかなプラットフォームができれば、いろいろとメリットもあるので、ぜひに進めてください。API。
