ちょっと、自分のつぶやきの数をtwitterのWEBで確認してみてください。
なんか、知らないうちに、いままでの3倍以上つぶやいたりしてません？
そうだとしたら、それバグです。

twitterが報告しています。

Some users are experiencing tweet counts which are vastly greater than the number which should be displayed. We are aware of this issue and are working on gathering usernames of accounts which are affected. If your tweet count is at least 3 times the number it should be, please leave a comment below with the following information:

このバグ、すぐには直らないから、あんまり期待しないでねｰ、とのことですが、つぶやきのカウントが増えてる人は、コメントで教えてくれとのことなので、教えてあげましょう。

災害の通信手段としてかつやくしたり、宇宙飛行士がつぶやいたりしているわけですが、その規模感のわりには、バグが多いtwitter。
そろそろ資本力のある、でっかいところが買い取って、安定した環境で運営した方がいいのかもしれんですね。
