いやー、IEの支配、長かったですね。
ネスケがなくなり、Windowsについているブラウザしか使えない時代が長くつづいていたのですが、そんななかでも検討してきたのがFireFox。
このたび、バージョン3.5が世界のいろんなスタッツを計測するツールStatscounterで、IE7を抜いて、国際的に一番つかわれているブラウザになりました。
詳しくはこっちです。

IE7が急落してきたので、数字的にFF3.5が追い越したわけですが、よくみたらIE8が背後に忍び寄ってる。
まあ、IE8もいいブラウザーですし、Windows７がそこそこ売れてるからというのもあるのか？？

まあ、３日天下にならなければいいんですけど、ちょっとこういうのうれしいですね。

長い、引用ですが。。。要はプライバシー、ビデオ、モバイルがすげえことになるよ、と言っています。
そもそも、今までのFirefoxも個人のデータなどをプラグインでインテグレートして使ったりしていたし、ビデオもネイティブ対応してきたし、と言う経緯があるので、この辺はだとうなせんかも。

個人的なユーザーとしてはプライバシーの向こうにある便利さに興味があって、もうブラウザとOSの垣根、つまりクライアントとクラウドの垣根を意識しなくてもいい世界になっているんじゃなかろうかと、次の5年。

なんかChromeとかＯｐｅｒａとかみていると、そんな感じがするので、5年後ブラウザ、なくなってるかもしれませんね、って、それＭＳが昔やろうとしていたことなのかな？

記事もとによると、かならずしもブラウザというわけではなさそうだけど、なんかしらMoziraから、数週間以内に出るみたい。
iPhone AppのＳＤＫをみていると、さすがにブラウザはないんじゃないかな？なんておもうわけですが、そこはMozira。超法規的に何らかしらだしてきたりするのかな、とおもうのですが、かたいところではブックマークシンクとかそういうところですかね？
個人的にはサンダーバードベースのRSSリーダーがでるとうれしかったりするのですが、いかがでしょう？
