iPadの16ギガバージョン（499ドル）つくるのに、少なくとも260ドルかかってるみたいです。
さて、高性能タブレットのiPadなわけですが、最低価格499ドル。
これって安いのかなー、とおもっているんですけど、どうも原価は52％くらいなんじゃないかという調査が出てます。
つまり499ドルのiPadをつくるのに、コストは260どるくらいかかる仕組み。
まあ、中を分解して、パーツひとつひとつの原価を足し上げていった数字みたいなんですが、つーことは粗利は40％くらいか。
Analysis by ISuppli indicates that components of the lowest-priced, 16-gigabyte iPad amounts to 52 percent of its retail price of $499. That leaves the iPad on par with other Apple products, including the iPhone 3GS. A high-end 64-gigabyte version of the iPad, which retails for $699, contains components that cost $348.10, according to ISuppli

ちなみにiPhoneが発売されたとき（2007年）、8Gバイトモデルが原価265ドルで、売価は599ドル。
それかんがえると、iPhoneより、100ドルくらい、おいしくないぞ、iPadということになりますね。
64GBのほうのiPadは699ドルの売値で原価は350ドルくらい。
こっちもおいしくない。
けど、あれですね。いろんなe-Bookリーダーが、結構原価割れで、のちのちコンテンツで回収するぜといようなモデルを組んでたりするのを考えると。。。これ、健全な価格なのか？
